    Yesterday, my friend Alma sent me messages, saying, “I have believed in the Lord for more than twenty years, but I still often live in sin. More often, I quarrel with my husband over some trifling matters, so that can’t live harmoniously. I always want to control him, once what he did doesn’t accord with my will, I either quarrel or have a cold war with him.     In recent years,…disasters all around the world have gotten much worse. Earthquakes…pestilence…famine…floods, droughts, and plagues of insects are happening more frequently, and spreading everywhere. These facts alone are enough to make people see the truth…that God’s words and prophecies are currently being realized and fulfilled! During the days without God, I was full of emptiness and pains. When thinking of this, I am very grateful for God’s salvation and thank God for bringing me into God’s family in which I read God’s word and gradually grow in spirit.

    I opened my phone this early morning and there appear a message notice send by the app, The Church Almighty God. It says a new church hymn named “Time” is uploaded. I entered the music page, and began to hum to myself as the music rang out, “A lonely soul has traveled here from far away. Seeking the past, probing the future， it toils arduously, in pursuit of a dream. It toils arduously, in pursuit of a dream. It knows not whence it comes or whither it is going. Born in tears, fading in despair,”. This allowed me to think of the period when I didn’t believe in God yet. Back then, I struggled in society and felt helpless.     “Mom, my older sister was in a car accident and she’s at the Military District General Hospital in emergency care. The doctor said … he said that her injuries are really severe and they may not be able to save her. He said her family should get to the hospital as soon as possible and make preparations….” My youngest daughter was breaking down in tears over the phone. My legs suddenly went completely weak and I nearly fainted; tears streamed down my face and I felt like I had been stabbed through the heart. Just how badly was my daughter injured? How could I go on living if I lost her at such a young age? In the midst of my pain it occurred to me that since I’m a believer, I had to pray and lean on God—I knew He would certainly help and guide me. I Now Know What the Meaning of Life Is

God’s words: “Where did the pain of birth, death, illness and old age present throughout the life of man come from? Because of what did people first have these things? Man didn’t have these things when they were first created, did they?”

    Every day, countless people rush about and constantly busy for the sake of money and status, I am no exception.

    I began to work after graduation. Every day, I rush about and busy myself for making money, with a dream that I could live a rich life one day. However, I was met with a traffic accident and I very nearly lost my life. That traffic accident stopped my busy steps, at that time, I began to ponder: If I lost my life in the traffic accident, what is the meaning of my whole life? Is it only for a lot of money and a high status? How we live is a meaningful life? These questions linger in my mind.
