God Is Seeking Your Heart and Your Spirit

God says:”When you feel the world’s cold or you’re weary, don’t cry or be lost. Almighty God, the Watcher, will embrace your return.”

    Sister MIA whom I haven’t seen for a long time called me yesterday. I could feel her weariness from her voice. She told me she hadn’t attended the gathering for a very long time. Life pressure causes her to work day and night, and she had three jobs a day. After getting home, she still has to deal with much housework. By the end of every day, she felt totally exhausted. Due to high labor intensity, she was falling apart and was just diagnosed as Thyroid cancer that needed her to be operated in no time. Having known this, I felt sad for her, at the same time, I worried about her, expecting she would have a successful operation. MIA said she wanted to attend the gathering with us after the operation. This is a piece of gratifying news. I was thinking: Why do men live so painfully and hard? When do those people, who suffer much torment and pains in this world, come to realize, return to God’s family, and thus obtain God’s protection and distant themselves from these pains? I think of a hymn I heard not long ago. It sings out God’s expectation and His mercy for man. I then share this hymn with MIA. Listening to it, she was deeply touched.
