It is very cold today, a northerly wind blows my face like a knife. I drove my car to a supermarket for something. When I was passing through a traffic light, out of my expectation, a person suddenly appeared in front of my car. The fact is that the man’s hat was blown to the center of the road, he directly ran to pick up his hat without attention to my car. At that time, I had no time to think more but stepped hard on the brake, then there came the sound of locking four wheels. What followed was a bang behind me, it is the sound from my car being bumped by another car. Thank to the good braking performance, my car was perfectly still. Before I recovered, I saw the man stand up in front of my car. He was only half one meter far from my car. I pulled down the car windows and angrily scolded him.
