God’s anger for the Ninevites,
changed to mercy, tolerance,
because of their confession,
because of their repentance.
God’s words in the Bible: “Not every one that said to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
The main character is born into a Christian family and later becomes a preacher in a house church. He believes that justification by faith can allow people entry into the kingdom of heaven. However, he later reads God’s words in the Bible: “Not every one that said to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). “You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy” (Leviticus 11:45). He just can’t figure this out. People who aren’t holy cannot see the Lord, and yet despite having been a believer in the Lord for many years, he still sins and confesses and is unable to attain holiness. He wonders: Will I be able to get into heaven? He pores over the Bible and visits pastors and elders from home or abroad to ask them about this, but he finds no answers. Just as he is losing heart in his search, he hears Almighty God’s kingdom gospel. After reading Almighty God’s words, he finally comes to understand that only by undergoing God’s judgment in the last days and being cleansed of corrupt dispositions can he get into heaven, and so, he finally finds the way into the kingdom of heaven.

Nowadays, the Mount of Olives has long since been broken, and we also now see disasters happening more frequently all around the world, with wars and terrorist attacks occurring all the time, blood moons constantly appearing, and all the prophecies in the Bible concerning Jesus’ return have basically been fulfilled. And yet we still haven’t heard the news of the Lord’s return coming from Israel. The place where the Lord Jesus will return to has therefore become something many who long for the Lord’s return would most like to know.
