Many people believe that the judgment of the great white throne as prophesied in the Book of Revelation means that, when the Lord returns in the last days, He will set up a desk in the sky where He will sit, unfurl the scroll, and judge each and every person to determine whether they go to heaven or to hell, based on their behavior. Imagining all of this seems quite reasonable, but will God really carry everything out as we imagine He will?
