At the age of 20, I was baptized and turned to the Lord Jesus. The pastor’s sermons on the Lord Jesus’ love and teachings warmed my heart, and all my brothers and sisters in the church were very helpful to one another, so I really enjoyed attending that church. I would often hear the pastor say, “The Lord Jesus was crucified to redeem us, He resurrected and ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us. You testify that the Lord Jesus has returned, so why are we now on earth and not yet raptured?

We should hope for the Lord’s return based on the prophecies that He Himself spoke. That is the most standard way of waiting for the Lord’s return. Who are you quoting, really? Are you quoting the Lord’s words or the words of men? “Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air,” who said that? Are those the Lord Jesus’ words? The Lord Jesus never said anything like that. The Mystery of the Lord’s Return

I gained faith in the Lord in 2012. I often heard the pastor say in gatherings, “The Bible says, ‘You men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven’ (Acts 1:11). ‘And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory’ (Luke 21:27). The Lord Jesus went up into heaven ascending on a cloud in His spiritual body, so He’ll certainly return in the same way, appearing to us on a cloud. Many biblical prophecies have now been fulfilled—the Lord will soon return. We must believe He will come on a cloud. Any news the Lord has incarnated is fake and we must not believe it, or we’ll be deceived and miss our chance at heaven.” I always kept the pastor’s words in mind. Later, I served in the church.
